Contact tag

A label applied to a contact to say where they came from or what they asked for: "ebook", "promo", "hot lead".

What is Contact tag?

A contact tag is a text marker attached to a person in the contact list. It says which automation they came through, what they asked for, in which campaign, or at what stage they are. It is the basis of segmentation: instead of sending the same message to everyone, the brand talks to whoever has the right tag. The practical rule is one tag per source and one per interest, with short, consistent names; ten similar tags become noise.

In Murify

Every Murify automation applies a tag to whoever goes through it, and the contact list filters by tag so you can see who asked for what.
