Comments, DMs and contacts

Segmentation

Splitting the contact list by interest, source or behavior to send the right message to each group.

What is Segmentation?

Segmentation is separating contacts into groups that receive different communications: those who asked for material A, those who bought, those who only asked the price, those who came from a given post. The right message for one group is noise for another, and noise is what makes people mute the account. On social media, segmentation comes from the tags applied by automations and the answers collected in DMs. A well-segmented broadcast to a hundred people yields more than a generic one to a thousand.

In Murify

Murify’s broadcast goes to the account’s opted-in contacts, and the tags and answers collected in flows are what let you choose who to talk to.
