Data deletion request

How to erase everything Murify keeps about you or about your Instagram and Facebook account, from inside the product or by direct request.

Last updated: September 14, 2026.

  1. 1. Who this page is for

Anyone with a Murify account, anyone who connected an Instagram or Facebook account to the product, and anyone who never had an account but commented on or messaged a connected account. In every case the request is free and needs no justification.

  2. 2. Delete your account from the product

Sign in to Murify, go to Settings, Account and choose "Delete account". We ask for your password again to confirm. Deletion is immediate and removes profile, brands, posts, schedules, automations, contacts, network tokens and the files in storage. If you are the only owner of a workspace, it goes too. To delete a single workspace and keep the account, use Settings, Workspace.

  3. 3. Disconnect Instagram or Facebook

In Settings, Social accounts, disconnecting revokes the token Meta gave us and stops publishing, metrics and automations for that account. You can also remove Murify in Meta settings under "Apps and websites" or "Business integrations". Disconnecting cuts access; what was already stored only leaves when you delete the account or by direct request.

  4. 4. Request by email

If you cannot sign in or prefer not to use the product, write to the email on the contact page with the subject "Data deletion", from the email registered with us, and include the username of the Instagram or Facebook account, if any. We confirm identity through that same channel, delete within 15 days and reply confirming what was removed.

  5. 5. If you have no Murify account

Comments and messages you sent to a connected account are kept for up to 90 days, with the text and your username, and are erased automatically after that. To erase them sooner, send an email with your username and the username of the account you interacted with.

  6. 6. What is not deleted

Credit ledger entries and template usage events are kept for tax obligations, stripped of the fields that linked them to you or to content. Posts already published stay on the networks, because they live there and not here; to remove them, use Instagram or Facebook itself. Technical security logs expire within the period described in the Privacy policy.
