Webhook

The notice the network sends the tool the instant something happens: a new comment, a message, a mention.

What is Webhook?

A webhook is the mechanism through which the network tells a tool, in real time, that an event happened: a comment arrived, a DM came in, a story mention occurred. Instead of the tool asking every so often, the network pushes the event as soon as it happens. It is what lets the automatic reply arrive in seconds and the inbox show the message immediately. It depends on the account being connected through the official API and on the tool having subscribed to the account’s events.

In Murify

Murify’s automations and inbox run on Meta webhooks: the comment with the keyword triggers the DM in seconds, and the message shows on screen without refreshing.
