What is Comment moderation?

Comment moderation is taking care of what people write on posts: answering questions, hiding abuse and spam, flagging complaints to whoever should handle them. A comment with no reply gives the impression of an abandoned account, and a visible offensive comment drives people away. At volume, manual moderation does not scale, and AI now does the triage: it classifies each comment and leaves only the decision to the person. The criteria belong to the brand, not the tool.
