Script and copy

Storytelling

Telling the content as a story, with a character, a conflict and a resolution, to hold attention and be remembered.

What is Storytelling?

Storytelling is the technique of structuring content as a narrative: someone wants something, meets an obstacle, makes a choice and reaches a result. It works because a story is the form the brain uses to store information, and because it creates the "and then?" that holds the person to the end. In a carousel, every slide is a scene; in a caption, the first line opens the conflict. Customer cases, behind-the-scenes and the business’s own mistakes are ready-made stories most brands never tell.

In Murify

Murify’s script splits the content into hook, development and call to action, which is the minimum structure of a story, and the brand’s tone of voice is applied to every slide.
