Script and copy

Script

The post’s text organized before the design, slide by slide, with what each one says and in what order.

What is Script?

The script is the planning of a post’s text before any image exists. For a carousel, it defines what goes on each slide: the cover with the hook, the development slides with one point each and the closing with the call to action. Writing the script first separates two decisions that tend to get in each other’s way, what to say and how to show it, and makes the design serve the text, not the other way around. It is also what allows reviewing and approving the content before the visual work.

In Murify

In Murify the script is the first step: a one-sentence brief becomes the text of each slide, you review and approve, and only then is the design generated.
