What is Saves?
A save is the action of keeping a post in a personal collection, through the bookmark icon. It is a private interaction that nobody sees, and therefore more honest than a like: the person wants to come back to the content. The algorithm treats saves as one of the strongest quality signals and tends to distribute saved posts more. Reference content, such as lists, step-by-steps, checklists and tables, is what gets saved the most, and the carousel is its natural format.
