What is Multi-format?

Multi-format is producing the same piece in the ratios each placement asks for: 4:5 for the Instagram feed, 1:1 for the LinkedIn square and the old feed, 9:16 for stories, Reels and TikTok. Stretching or cropping an image to another ratio cuts text off or leaves empty space; the right way is to recompose the layout, changing where the photo and text sit in each format. It is expensive manual work when the volume is daily, and it is the reason many people post the same format everywhere.
