What is Algorithm?
Algorithm is the popular name for social networks’ ranking systems: there is not one, but one per surface. The feed prioritizes accounts the person interacts with; stories, the closest accounts; Reels and Explore, what people similar to them watched to the end. All of them start from behavior signals, such as watch time, sends via DM, saves and comments, and from the post’s early performance among existing followers. There is no trick: what the algorithm does is scale content that already worked with its first audience.
